Holly and Willow are sisters. From their first litters I kept Ellie (daughter of Holly) and then Hazel (daughter of Willow). Ellie and Hazel are therefore “half sister-cousins”, as their mums (Holly and Willow) are sisters and they also share the same dad (KC: Mr Making Waves)

Holly (AKA Licking Machine V1.0) loves everyone and everything. She occasionally makes Staffy noises but it’s rare - only really when she wants something the others have. Her favourite toy is her large boomer ball in the field and if I don’t flick it with my foot enough, she’ll grow a beard of saliva bubbles. She does occasionally watch TV but is very fussy about what she watches. She’s a natural at being a mum and shows a keen interest in the litters of others.

Willow (AKA Wihwoh) like her sister Holly loves everyone but definitely has a preference for older men and children. She loves eye contact. She’s an avid TV watcher and during the world cup she changed sofas just to get a more comfortable view of the telly (we all watched her do it). Willow loves her boomer ball but also loves Scooby Doo balls and tennis balls and rope toys…as long you’re involved.

Ellie (AKA Licking Machine V2.0) is…..intense to be blunt about it! Just like her mum Holly she loves to lick people and if you’re not paying attention she’ll lift your trouser legs or even your top to find some skin to lick at your belt line. Quite sensitive, she’s easily offended but nothing that a cuddle can’t fix. She’s very hurt when the cats walk away without saying hi. Ellie likes cuddles more than playing. She goes into a licking frenzy if you howl like a wolf… She thinks we’re crying and is desperate to comfort us.

From Willow’s first litter, Hazel shares Willow’s blue/brindle colouring. Originally sold to a vetted family who already had a happy adult Staffy, we took her back when they had an unexpected change of circumstances. She’s the most aloof of our girls but she’s also the best “puppy cleaner” that we’ve ever seen. She has a real passion for puppies which makes me eager to see how she does with her own litters! Hazel’s passion is catching Scooby Doo balls in the air after they bounce. Incredibly acrobatic compared to the other girls, she’ll jump even when there’s no need, she just loves it that much.
For all our Veterinary needs we use Lisburn Veterinary Clinic on Sloan Street, Lisburn. Awesome staff and very competent vets.
